In-season shuttle runs Memorial Day weekend through the second weekend in October. Posted in-park hours start at 12 PM (noon)–6 PM most of the season, and 12 PM–8:30 PM (or sunset) in peak summer — we do not start park shuttle service at 8 AM. Online reservations open March 1; from April 15 book online then call to confirm; soft weekends from May 1; main season starts the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Some weekdays are on-call by phone at (906) 291-3422.

A valid Recreation Passport is required on all vehicles entering Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Passports may be purchased upon arrival. Michigan DNR — Recreation Passport

Infants 24 months or less ride free with a paying adult when secured in a guest-provided child restraint that meets Michigan law. Infants still count toward shuttle capacity. Hunter Transportation does not provide car seats. One-way example: 2 people + 1 pet = $37.00. Upper ↔ Lower RT example: 2 people = $52.00. Online card payments add a $2 processing fee per reservation (No tip, 10%, 20%, 25%, or a custom amount on Square secure checkout.). Venmo totals include a small fee so we net the posted fare.
